Seattle DUI Attorney Christopher Kattenhorn has been recognized by Washington Law and Politics as a 2012 "Rising Star" in the field of DUI defense. The "Rising Star" honor is given to very small number of attorneys as no more than 2.5% of practicing attorneys are named to the list. They are recognized for having attained a high degree of peer recognition and personal achievement in one of over 70 fields. Nominations for this honor come from fellow colleagues and then all potential candidates are put through a very thorough screening process.
Christopher has been working as a courtroom litigator since serving as a Rule 9 during law school at Seattle University. After graduating, he worked as a contract attorney for Stein Lotzkar & Starr serving as a public defender for several eastside cities, including Kirkland and Bellevue. In May of 2010, Christopher came to work with Aaron Wolff where he has limited his practice to Seattle area DUI defense and other alcohol-related offenses. He frequently appears in courts throughout King, Snohomish and Pierce Counties.
Christopher is a NHTSA-qualified administrator of the standardized field sobriety tests. He is a graduate of the National College for DUI Defense 2012 Summer Session at Harvard Law School in Cambridge, Massachusetts. He is a member of the American Bar Association, Washington Association of Criminal Defense Lawyers and National College of DUI Defense.
To be recognized as a "Rising Star" is reflective of Christopher's tremendous skills and reputation as a zealous advocate. He is intelligent, articulate and very persuasive. Christopher is not afraid to go to battle to defend the rights of his clients. For all of this, he has gained the respect of his peers, prosecutors and jurists as an outstanding defense lawyer.
I am very proud and honored to have Christopher working along side me at Wolff Criminal Defense.
