An Oregon man was arrested for a DUI last Sunday night. The police probably did not need to perform a special investigation to figure out that alcohol was the probable cause for the alleged erratic driving and accident. That's because the 21-year-old Corvalis man was wearing a t-shirt that said in all caps that he was "DRUNK AS S--T", reports the New York Post.
Authorities say that Ross McMakin decided to drive drunk because his girlfriend did not know how to drive a stick shift. Maybe the pair should have called a cab instead. Once McMakin got behind the wheels of the car, police say that he drove up the sidewalk and struck a parked car.
To make matters worse, police say that when his girlfriend tried to take the keys away from him, McMakin struck her. The 21-year-old has been charged with a DUI and also harassment and strangulation charges.
