Former Cleveland Browns quarterback Bernie Kosar was arrested for suspicion of drunk driving in Ohio earlier this week, reports the South Florida Sun-Sentinel. When asked why he couldn't walk a straight line, Kosar offered a unique defense:  Kosar blamed his former Browns' offensive line.

The 49-year-old Kosar currently lives in Youngstown, Ohio and was pulled over at about 2:40 a.m. on Sunday morning. Authorities caught Kosar speeding through a construction zone driving 74 mph. The speed limit is 50 mph in that area.

When he was stopped by authorities, Kosar reportedly had slurred speech and smelled of alcohol. When asked for his driver's license, Kosar instead turned over his credit cards. Kosar also refused to take a Breathalyzer test and when asked to repeat the alphabet, Kosar recited a version that began with E, ended in X, and missed all the letters between G and P. Kosar was arrested and has since been released from custody after posting a $500 bond.
