A Washington State Patrol officer travelling on I-405 saw a suspected DUI driver get on the freeway at about 9:00 p.m. on Saturday night. The suspect was driving without any lights on and was driving in an erratic fashion.

When the patrol officer tried to get the vehicle to stop, a car chase ensued which ended when the DUI suspect crashed into a barrier on the highway. Instead of giving up, the suspect then reportedly fled on foot, jumped a fence, and hid on a roof in an effort to evade capture, reports King 5 News.

With the assistance of a helicopter, police officers were able to arrest the suspect. Perhaps to their surprise, the DUI suspect was not a grizzled criminal, but a 15-year-old child.
